By hook or by crook, developing countries like Ethiopia should optimize the fruits of Electronic Information Sources (including Electronic Theses and Dissertations) for their academic and research activities as it is not a secondary agenda in this information age; rather it is a must in an endeavor to bridge the prevailing digital divine. Electronic Information Sources of all types, in developing countries like Ethiopia, basically used in two ways: as a substitution and as a complement to the traditional or conventional library and information resources. Thus, first and foremost, this paper enlists the potential benefits of Electronic Information Resources, particularly Electronic Theses and Dissertation. It also glimpse at the practical bottlenecks, which has hindered us not to realize the untold benefits. Equally, the paper discussed examples and status of international cooperations with regard to Ethiopia, which are changing the nature and level of services of Academic Universities in Ethiopia.
